AJournal uses the iOS calendar component to show the calendar. Please ensure the calendar is added to iPad/iPhone settings to read/write a calendar entry in AJournal.
For example, if you have a Google calendar, please add it according to this Google document.

Users need to authorize calendar access by opening the setting and tapping "Calendar.". Users can select either all calendars on the device or a selected set of calendars. The template setting for using templates can override the setting.
To open the Apple Calendar app from AJournal, please tap the calendar button.
To create a new calendar entry or modify the existing one in AJournal, tap this button to enable the calendar edit mode.
After enabling the calendar edit mode, the user can tap the calendar entry to open the entry and edit or delete it.
Tap space in the calendar element to create a new calendar event.
In the weekly calendar element, the user can navigate to the daily plan by tapping this area (after enabling the calendar edit mode).
In the monthly calendar element, the user can navigate to the daily plan by tapping the date (after enabling the calendar edit mode) and the week plan by tapping the left side of the week row.
If the user uses AJournal on multiple devices, please grant access to AJournal settings on all devices. Please ensure the calendar names match exactly. If the name does not match, please rename it in the iOS Calendar app.
