Canibalize Tasks

I would love if I were able to integrate one task into a different one, when I find out I don't track it as much and there is a more general name for this. 

Is there some way I could maybe edit the backup file with search + replace to accomplish this?

There is already a post on this, but it's more than 2 years old.

  Thanks for using ATracker!

  It is still on our to-do list, as there are not many users requesting the feature, and it is pretty tricky to implement, especially if the user has Dropbox or web sync enabled.

  We might add it in future ATracker releases. But there is no time plan yet.
