Fictional 24-Hour Days
Hello,
This has been my complaint about ATracker ever since I started using it years ago. We had a thread for it and a discussion about it in the old GetSatisfaction forum, but that forum has disappeared, so I'm posting the concern here again.
The trouble is that ATracker insists that every day has exactly 24 hours, but it does not. ;-) For me, a day is from bedtime to bedtime. For example, I may have a very long Monday due to lots of work, so that I only finish my work for Monday 2 hours after midnight. ATracker insists that that is already Tuesday, but it isn't, really.
Therefore, please make it possible for the user to mark the "end-of-day" (each day) manually, on a day-to-day, ad hoc basis corresponding to reality, instead of the fiction of every day ending at midnight or at 10 p.m. (which is my current setting, but it's just as fictional as midnight).
Thank you.
Alex

Absolutely. I'm at my best if I manage to sleep from 10 to 5. Unfortunately, life (both work life and private life) isn't predictable that way, and sometimes I "end my day" several hours after midnight, whether I like it or not. And then it's very confusing to have ATracker already assign all of that to the following day.
