Daily Backup on Android
I'm right now evaluating time tracker apps, and I like ATracker the best so far, but it is scary to spend so much time on an app, generating all this data but feel like you might lose it all if the phone is lost, stolen or broken, and the only way to secure the data is manual backups.
(I'm on Android, so no access to a daily backup using DropBox.)
I assume that making a dropbox link with Android is not a high priority (since it hasn't been done yet) but perhaps a simpler feature could be done where a daily backup is done (assuming something has changed) and simply saved to the device? Or emailed?
Or maybe an Android Intent can be exposed to allow tech savvy Android users with a Tasker-like app to roll their own backup solution? Once a day, I could send an intent to Tasker to ask it to create a backup, and I could have Tasker watch the backup folder for modifications and automatically send the file to wherever I want. (I think)

We bought the Dropbox sync component from a third party vendor and that component has only iOS / OSX version. So it is not possible to extend it to Android with compatibility to existing iOS users. Sorry!
For the daily backup, we will investigate and try to allow user to do a data backup to their storage automatically in future ATracker release. It has not been requested by other users. Not sure whether it is a welcomed function or not yet. We will do some investigation on it first.
Thanks for using ATracker and have a nice day!
