Collapse of Dropbox Syncing
Well, here it is again... Over the last couple of weeks, Dropbox syncing among my 3 iOS devices has been slowing down to a crawl, until it has stopped working completely tonight. Restarting the devices doesn't help. The spinning wheel is spinning, then stops spinning, but still the activities are not synced.
I suppose I might resolve this (?) by deleting all old files in the Dropbox folder and start the syncing afresh (that helped previously when Dropbox syncing similarly collapsed).
But perhaps this time, I'm going to give the web syncing another try. I'm paying for the annual subscription, after all. However, the last two times I tried it, web syncing wasn't working for me at all. Well, perhaps "third time is the charm" – I can try again now, and if web syncing still doesn't work, I'll try deleting the contents of the Dropbox folder and reverting to Dropbox syncing.

Just to let you know.
Dropbox has big problem with their APIs between August 23 and August 29. It affects at least 200 ATracker devices and causing them to crash constantly. We have communicated with Dropbox developer team and they have fixed the problem on August 29th on their API side.
I am not sure whether this is related to your Dropbox problem, but it might very well explains the Dropbox issue you have.

Yes, I, too, had constant ATracker crashes on my devices in late August. But syncing was still working.
Now, there are no more crashes, but syncing doesn't work at all.
What's more, when I log in to the ATracker web portal, it says my subscription expired! But I paid for another year in early August. I hope this is just a temporary error. I'll try activating the web portal from an iPad.

Thank you, Jian, I can log onto the web server now. It shows my most recent activity as being 9565 hours long :-D – that's how much time has passed since my last attempt to use web syncing.
I'll give it another try tonight. First, I will back up everything carefully, then also push those "restore purchase" buttons on all three iOS devices, just to be sure.
If web syncing doesn't work, I'll completely delete the ATracker folder on Dropbox and try setting up Dropbox syncing afresh. If as you say they fixed the issue on August 29th, then setting up the syncing "as new" could/should be successful.

Dropbox team does not tell us how they fixed the problem, but I can see there is no ATracker crash related to that specific line in Dropbox API after August 29th, so they must done something there. They just officially thanks me to point out the bug, and does not offer any compensation for the loss. I suppose it is normal as Dropbox sync is a free service provided by them. Just bad for developer, as I did get several 1 star reviews due to the problem.

There was definitely something wrong with Dropbox in previous weeks, quite apart from ATracker. I had to open a Dropbox support ticket last week (I think) – I have the 2 TB account. Upload speeds from my mobile phone to Dropbox (various files from various apps) were suddenly extremely slow. Fortunately, after a few days, the issue "resolved itself", and Dropbox download/upload speeds seem to be back to normal now.
